Bio

Sonali Swetapadma has completed her Masters in Law from KIIT School of Law, KIIT University with the specialization of Criminal and Security Laws. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D in the topic 'A critical analysis of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act 2012 (with special reference to Odisha)'. She has also worked as a Field Investigator for Odisha in an ICSSR-sponsored Research Programme “Response to the Offence of Rape by the Criminal Justice System - An Empirical Study in the States of Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal.” Her research interests majorly lie in Criminology and Penology, Criminal Law and Law of Torts.
