CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTERS ON COMPARATIVE LAW

Editors
Prof. B C Nirmal & Rabindra Kr. Pathak

ABOUT THE BOOK

Comparative law in the present era of globalization faces many a challenge and requires a critical reflection, more so in view of the fact that it is more diverse today.  Given the diverse and differing nature of practices and problems prevalent in different parts of the globe, comparative law provides space to learn about, and from, the working of law in different countries and legal systems. Comparative law assumes a great significance owing to its continuously growing relevance. Besides the traditional topics, there are a good number of new emerging areas that form the core of comparative law as an area of study. Nonetheless, the existing literature, by and large, remains devoid of deliberations on some of the essential aspects of comparative law. There are many aspects of it that may be explored and researched in order to put in place an authoritative and comprehensible account of some of the major areas of study from the point of view of comparative law. There is a serious and pressing need to bring together thoughtful writings on some of the basic as well as critical aspects of comparative law.

The proposed book seeks to achieve the same.
